Terms governing access to our website educational programmes payments student services and related facilities.

Terms & Conditions

By using the website or services of Manipur Skills Institute you agree to the terms governing programme enrolment payments learning services student responsibilities and other facilities provided by the Institute.

These Terms & Conditions referred to as the “Terms” are applicable to students applicants website visitors and other users who access or use the services provided by Manipur Skills Institute.

By submitting an application enrolling in a programme making a payment accessing learning resources or otherwise using the services you acknowledge that you have read understood and agreed to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

Programmes offered by Manipur Skills Institute are generally intended for eligible applicants who satisfy the academic age documentation and other requirements applicable to the selected programme.

  • The Institute may request documents or additional information for verification.
  • Where an applicant is below 18 years of age consent from a parent or legal guardian may be required where applicable.

2. Nature of the Institute and Programmes

Manipur Skills Institute MSI is a vocational training and skill based learning institute focused on practical industry based and career oriented learning.

MSI operates as an authorised vocational training partner of Manipur International University for applicable programmes.

MSI is not represented as a conventional regular degree college or as a placement consultancy. The role of MSI primarily includes learning delivery student support industry based learning practical exposure and facilitation of relevant career and employment opportunities.

The applicable academic admission student enrolment identification admission documentation examination evaluation and award of applicable certificates or academic documents shall remain subject to the applicable requirements and processes of Manipur International University.

3. Admission and Enrolment

Admission applications may be submitted through the authorised admission process of the Institute.

  • Applicants must submit correct personal and academic information.
  • Required documents must be submitted within the prescribed timeline.
  • Admission is subject to verification and applicable programme requirements.
  • Student enrolment is completed only through the authorised process.
  • Admission or enrolment may be cancelled or withheld where information is found to be false incomplete misleading or materially inaccurate.

4. Student Identification and Documentation

Eligible students may receive applicable student identification admission documentation learning access details and other programme related documents.

Documents issued by the Institute or by the applicable awarding authority are subject to verification and institutional requirements.

Students must not alter reproduce misuse transfer or represent any Institute or university document improperly.

5. Learning and Programme Delivery

MSI provides industry based vocational learning through applicable online offline hybrid practical and digital learning methods.

Depending upon the programme learning may include classroom sessions live online sessions practical activities projects assignments industry interaction doubt clearing and other academic support activities.

The Institute may reasonably modify schedules trainers delivery methods learning resources or academic arrangements where necessary for operational or educational purposes.

6. Fees and Payments

Applicable programme fees admission charges administrative charges and other applicable charges shall be communicated through authorised Institute channels.

  • Students must make payments through authorised payment methods only.
  • Students should retain payment receipts and transaction records.
  • Payment confirmation may be subject to verification.
  • Any applicable taxes payment gateway charges processing charges or other statutory charges shall be dealt with according to the applicable terms.

7. EMI and Financing

Where EMI or education financing is available such facility may be provided through third party banks NBFCs financial institutions or payment service providers.

Approval interest tenure processing charges repayment obligations rejection and other financing terms are determined by the concerned financial institution.

MSI shall not be responsible for EMI rejection lender delays interest charges penalties loan disputes or other matters arising between the student and the financing provider.

8. Refund and Cancellation

Refund and cancellation matters shall be governed by the separate Refund Policy published by Manipur Skills Institute.

Students are responsible for reviewing the applicable refund terms before making payment.

Where a specific refund condition or limitation applies under the Refund Policy that provision shall govern the relevant transaction.

9. Career and Employment Opportunities

MSI provides industry based learning and facilitates relevant career and employment opportunities for eligible students.

Such opportunities may relate to general employment functions including sales marketing customer service administration information technology operations business support and other relevant areas.

MSI may facilitate employment related opportunities through its industry connections employers recruitment activities interviews referrals employer interactions or other available channels.

Any reference to 100% job opportunity or similar career opportunity language refers to the facilitation of an applicable interview or employment opportunity for an eligible student and does not mean a guaranteed job appointment.

Employment decisions remain solely with the concerned employer. Selection depends upon the candidate's eligibility interview performance skills communication qualifications experience employer requirements and other factors.

MSI does not guarantee employment a particular employer a particular designation a particular salary a particular country visa approval immigration approval work permit or any specific employment outcome.

Opportunities may arise across different international markets and are subject to employer requirements applicable laws immigration rules and availability at the relevant time.

10. Nature of Career Facilitation

MSI's career support forms part of its vocational and industry based learning model.

MSI shall not be construed as guaranteeing recruitment or acting as an employment agency for the purpose of guaranteeing employment to any student.

The Institute may facilitate relevant opportunities where available but the final recruitment decision remains with the concerned employer.

11. Student Responsibilities

Students are expected to:

  • Attend and participate in applicable learning activities.
  • Complete assignments projects assessments and other programme requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate conduct during classes training assessments and Institute activities.
  • Provide accurate information and valid documents.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials.
  • Follow applicable Institute and programme rules.
  • Cooperate with interview and recruitment processes when pursuing available career opportunities.

12. User Conduct

Users shall not:

  • Misuse Institute systems or learning platforms.
  • Share or transfer student login credentials.
  • Copy or distribute protected learning materials without permission.
  • Upload malicious software or harmful content.
  • Submit fraudulent documents or false information.
  • Engage in abusive threatening unlawful or disruptive conduct.

Violation of these requirements may result in suspension or termination of access subject to the applicable Institute rules.

13. Intellectual Property

Website content learning materials videos graphics documents logos trademarks presentations software and other materials made available by MSI or its licensors are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Students may use such materials only for their authorised educational purpose. Unauthorised reproduction commercial use redistribution publication modification or resale is prohibited.

14. University and Awarding Authority

For applicable programmes Manipur Skills Institute functions as an authorised vocational training partner of Manipur International University.

Applicable student enrolment examinations academic evaluation certification and award of relevant academic or programme documents are subject to the rules requirements and processes of the University.

MSI's role primarily concerns learning delivery vocational training student support practical learning industry based learning and facilitation of relevant career opportunities.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law MSI shall not be responsible for indirect incidental special consequential or unforeseeable losses arising from the use of its website learning services third party services employer decisions financial institutions or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of MSI.

MSI does not guarantee uninterrupted website access continuous availability of third party platforms or uninterrupted internet based services.

16. Third Party Services

MSI may use or integrate third party services including payment gateways financial institutions learning platforms communication systems cloud services video conferencing platforms and other technology providers.

Such services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies of the relevant third party. MSI shall not be responsible for matters caused solely by the independent acts omissions technical failures policies or decisions of such third parties.

17. Suspension and Termination

MSI may suspend or restrict access to its services where reasonably necessary due to:

  • Violation of these Terms.
  • False or misleading information.
  • Payment default.
  • Fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
  • Misuse of Institute resources.
  • Conduct that materially affects other students staff faculty employers or Institute operations.

18. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

MSI shall not be responsible for delays or inability to provide services caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include natural disasters government restrictions public emergencies technical infrastructure failures internet disruptions strikes operational disruptions third party failures or other unforeseen events.

19. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information provided by applicants students or users shall be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Manipur Skills Institute and applicable law.

Information may be used for admission enrolment learning administration student support payment processing communication career opportunity facilitation and legal or regulatory requirements.

20. Changes to These Terms

Manipur Skills Institute may revise update modify or replace these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect operational academic legal regulatory or service related requirements.

The updated Terms shall be published through the authorised website or other appropriate Institute communication channels.

Continued use of the website or services after the publication of revised Terms may constitute acceptance of the updated provisions to the extent permitted by applicable law.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India.

Any dispute claim controversy or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services of Manipur Skills Institute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction at Imphal Manipur.

The parties agree that Imphal Manipur shall be the exclusive territorial jurisdiction for judicial proceedings arising from the relationship between the Institute and the student or user subject to applicable law.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid unlawful or unenforceable by a competent authority the remaining provisions shall continue to remain in effect to the extent permitted by applicable law.

23. Entire Terms

These Terms together with the applicable admission documents programme terms fee schedule refund policy privacy policy and other authorised Institute policies constitute the applicable terms governing the use of MSI services.

Where a specific written programme agreement or institutional requirement applies to a particular student the relevant specific provision shall govern to the extent of any inconsistency.
