Refund & Cancellation Policy - Manipur Skills Institute

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please review the applicable refund, cancellation and administrative fee terms carefully before completing your admission and payment.

Refund Policy

Manipur Skills Institute follows a defined refund and cancellation policy applicable to students enrolled in its vocational and skill-based programmes.

Students are advised to carefully review the programme structure, applicable fees, duration, academic requirements, learning arrangements, career opportunity terms and refund conditions before completing admission and making payment.

By completing admission and making payment, the student acknowledges and accepts the applicable refund and cancellation terms.

1. Refund Eligibility Period

A student who wishes to discontinue the programme may submit a refund request within 30 calendar days from the date of admission, subject to the terms of this policy.

The 30-day period is the prescribed period within which the student may request cancellation and consideration of an eligible refund.

30-Day Refund Window

Any refund request must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the date of admission. Students are advised to make any cancellation decision within this prescribed period.

2. No Refund After 30 Days

After completion of 30 calendar days from the date of admission, no refund shall be available.

After the expiry of the prescribed period, all fees and other amounts paid by the student shall become non-refundable, irrespective of the reason for discontinuation or withdrawal.

This includes, without limitation, personal reasons, employment changes, relocation, change of career plans, change of academic plans, non-attendance, inability to continue the programme or any other reason.

Final 30-Day Cut-Off

Once the 30-day refund period has expired, no refund request shall be entertained or processed under any circumstances.

3. Administrative Deduction

Where a refund is eligible and approved within the prescribed 30-day period, a fixed amount of ₹5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand only) shall be deducted towards administrative and processing charges.

Such administrative charges relate to admission processing, registration, student documentation, verification, record creation, payment processing, cancellation processing and other administrative activities undertaken by the Institute.

Where a particular charge has been expressly identified as non-refundable before payment, such charge shall not be included in the refundable amount.

5. Refund Request Procedure

A student seeking cancellation and refund must submit a formal request through the authorised channel prescribed by Manipur Skills Institute.

The refund request may require:

  • Student's full name.
  • Student ID or admission/enrolment details.
  • Programme or course name.
  • Date of admission.
  • Payment receipt or transaction reference.
  • Reason for requesting cancellation.
  • Bank details where required for refund processing.

The Institute may request additional information where required to verify the student's admission and payment records.

6. Verification of Refund Requests

Every refund request shall be subject to verification of the student's admission details, payment records and eligibility under this policy.

The Institute may verify transaction references, receipts, student records and other relevant information before approving a refund.

Submission of a refund request does not by itself constitute approval of the refund.

7. Industry-Based Learning & Career Opportunities

Manipur Skills Institute provides vocational and industry-based learning and may facilitate relevant employment and career opportunities for eligible students.

Such opportunities may include relevant roles and opportunities across areas such as sales, marketing, customer service, administration, information technology and other general industry functions depending upon available opportunities and employer requirements.

MSI may facilitate opportunities in India and international markets. International opportunities may involve employers or opportunities across multiple countries and are subject to availability and applicable requirements.

8. Career Opportunity Commitment

MSI's career opportunity commitment relates to the facilitation of a relevant employment or interview opportunity for an eligible student.

The commitment shall be considered fulfilled when MSI provides, facilitates or communicates a relevant job, recruitment, interview or employment opportunity to the eligible student in accordance with the applicable programme terms.

Opportunity Facilitation — Not Guaranteed Employment

MSI's commitment is to facilitate a relevant employment or interview opportunity. It does not constitute a guarantee that the candidate will ultimately be selected or employed.

The final decision regarding selection, appointment, salary, designation, joining and employment shall remain with the relevant employer or hiring organisation.

9. No Refund for Candidate Rejection or Non-Selection

No refund shall become payable merely because an employer or recruiting organisation rejects the candidate or does not select the candidate after an interview, screening, assessment or recruitment process.

Employer selection decisions are based on factors determined by the employer, including candidate profile, qualifications, skills, interview performance, assessment results, experience, availability and other employer-specific requirements.

MSI shall not be responsible for the final decision made by an employer or recruiting organisation.

10. No Refund if Candidate Does Not Accept an Opportunity

No refund shall be payable where a relevant employment, interview or recruitment opportunity has been provided or facilitated but the candidate chooses not to accept, attend, participate in or proceed with the opportunity.

This includes situations where the candidate declines an interview, does not attend an interview, declines an employment offer, chooses another opportunity, does not respond to the employer or otherwise decides not to proceed.

Candidate Decision

Once a relevant opportunity has been provided or facilitated, the candidate's decision to accept or decline that opportunity shall not create a refund entitlement.

11. No Guarantee of Employment Outcome

MSI does not guarantee a particular employment outcome, employer, designation, job role, salary, joining date or duration of employment.

The availability and outcome of any employment opportunity shall depend upon the employer, recruitment process, candidate eligibility, candidate performance and other circumstances outside the control of MSI.

Accordingly, failure to obtain a particular employment outcome shall not, by itself, create any right to claim a refund.

12. Visa and Immigration

MSI does not guarantee the approval or issuance of any visa, work permit, immigration permission or other government-authorised travel or employment document.

Where an international opportunity requires a visa, work permit or other regulatory approval, the final decision shall remain with the relevant government authority or competent authority.

Visa rejection, work permit rejection or failure to obtain immigration approval shall not create any refund entitlement.

13. No Guarantee of Salary or Country

MSI does not guarantee a particular salary, compensation package, designation, employer, job location or country of employment.

International opportunities may be available across different markets and countries depending upon employer demand, vacancies and applicable requirements.

A candidate shall not be entitled to claim a refund because a preferred country, employer, salary, designation or job role is not available.

14. Candidate Performance

Employment opportunities may require interviews, assessments, screening procedures, documentation, background verification or other selection processes.

Candidate performance, communication, skills, qualifications, interview performance and other candidate-specific factors may affect the final recruitment decision.

Failure by a candidate to satisfy an employer's selection criteria shall not create any refund entitlement.

15. When the Career Commitment is Fulfilled

For the purpose of the applicable career opportunity commitment, MSI's obligation shall be treated as fulfilled when a relevant employment, recruitment or interview opportunity is provided, facilitated or communicated to an eligible student.

Commitment Fulfilment

The subsequent outcome of the opportunity — including candidate acceptance, employer selection, offer, joining, salary, visa or continued employment — shall not determine whether MSI has fulfilled its career opportunity commitment.

The purpose of the opportunity is to provide the eligible student with a genuine opportunity to participate in an applicable recruitment or employment process.

16. No Refund for Employment-Related Outcomes

No refund shall be payable in any of the following circumstances where the applicable career opportunity has been provided or facilitated:

  • Candidate does not accept the opportunity.
  • Candidate does not attend the interview.
  • Candidate is rejected by the employer.
  • Candidate does not clear an interview or assessment.
  • Employer does not issue an offer.
  • Candidate receives an offer but does not join.
  • Candidate does not obtain the expected salary.
  • Candidate does not obtain the preferred designation.
  • Candidate does not obtain the preferred employer.
  • Candidate does not obtain the preferred country.
  • Candidate's visa or work permit is rejected.
  • Candidate does not satisfy immigration or regulatory requirements.
  • Candidate chooses another employment opportunity.

17. International Employment Opportunities

International career opportunities facilitated by MSI are subject to the availability of suitable vacancies, employer requirements, candidate eligibility and applicable laws and regulations.

MSI does not undertake to provide an opportunity in any particular country selected by a candidate.

The availability of opportunities may vary by industry, employer, market conditions, vacancy requirements and candidate profile.

18. Programme Participation and Refund

Students are expected to understand the programme, applicable learning arrangements, fee structure, academic requirements and career opportunity terms before completing admission.

Participation in learning activities, industry-based learning, interviews or career opportunity facilitation does not extend the 30-day refund period.

Once the 30-day refund period has expired, no refund shall be available even where the student subsequently chooses to discontinue the programme.

19. Student Responsibility

Students are responsible for making an informed decision before admission and payment.

  • Review the programme details.
  • Review the applicable fee structure.
  • Understand the learning requirements.
  • Understand the career opportunity terms.
  • Understand that employment selection is not guaranteed.
  • Understand that visa approval is not guaranteed.
  • Understand that salary and employer are not guaranteed.
  • Submit any refund request within the prescribed 30-day period.

Important Refund Notice

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the date of admission.

Where an eligible refund is approved within the prescribed period, ₹5,000 shall be deducted towards administrative charges.

After expiry of the 30-day period, no refund shall be available under any circumstances.

No refund shall arise due to candidate rejection, non-selection, non-acceptance of an offer, failure to attend an interview, visa rejection, work permit rejection, salary expectations, employer decisions or any other employment outcome where the applicable opportunity has been provided or facilitated.

Final Refund & Cancellation Terms

Manipur Skills Institute follows a defined 30-day refund window to provide students with a clear period within which they may request cancellation and consideration of an eligible refund.

Any eligible refund shall be subject to the applicable fee terms and a deduction of ₹5,000 towards administrative charges.

After completion of 30 calendar days from the date of admission, all fees paid shall be non-refundable and no refund request shall be entertained, irrespective of the reason for discontinuation.

MSI's career opportunity commitment relates to the facilitation of a relevant employment, recruitment or interview opportunity for an eligible student. Once such relevant opportunity has been provided, facilitated or communicated, the applicable career opportunity commitment shall be treated as fulfilled.

The final result of any opportunity, including candidate acceptance, employer selection, rejection, offer, joining, salary, designation, country of employment, visa, work permit or continued employment, shall remain subject to the relevant employer, candidate and competent authorities and shall not create a refund entitlement.
